She was the founding head of the Durban FilmMart, has chaired multiple industry boards, and holds a Master of Law in Intellectual Property. Toni leads Amafrika’s market and development strategies, guiding projects toward finance and festival success.
Sithabile Mkhize
Producer | Writer | Emerging Market Voice
A rising force in African cinema, Sithabile is an award-nominated producer and screenwriter. She has produced several films including Dreams of Gomorrah (licensed by MNET) and documentaries commissioned by E-TV. A DFM Business Lab and Berlinale Talents alumna, she specializes in authentic, character-driven storytelling and creative development for both fiction and documentary.
Sekgametsi Mokoena

With more than 20 years in the industry, Sekgametsi has delivered a vast range of content—from reality and lifestyle series to feature films and live broadcasts. Known for her calm leadership, efficient budgeting, and ability to solve complex production challenges, she has worked with top-tier companies including Burnt Onion Productions, The Bomb Shelter, and Viacom. She leads Amafrika’s production support division.
